Following the hard-fought win, Green expressed the team’s jubilation in the locker room, emphasizing the collective effort that fueled their success.

Rockets coach Ime Udoka echoed Green’s sentiments, emphasizing the significance of stringing together victories in the competitive NBA landscape.

Udoka said the 10-game winning streak is a testament to their resilience and determination, adding that winning games in the league is no easy feat. Thus, adding that the Rockets players deserve the credit for their hard work.

Amen Thompson delivered a standout performance for the Rockets, registering a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds, while Dillon Brooks contributed 20 points to complement Green’s offensive onslaught.

Despite Gilgeous-Alexander’s absence, the Thunder put up a valiant effort, led by the impressive performances of Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams.

Giddey, coming off a career night, matched his career high with 31 points, showcasing his versatility and playmaking ability. Williams added 23 points and 10 assists, displaying his scoring prowess and facilitating skills.

Thunder coach Mark Daigneault refused to make excuses for his team’s defeat, emphasizing the importance of accountability and resilience regardless of the circumstances.

The game reached a fever pitch in the final minutes of regulation, with both teams exchanging crucial baskets in a frantic finish. Giddey’s remarkable shot while sitting on the floor and Williams’ clutch three-pointer sent the game into overtime, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion.

In overtime, Brooks delivered two timely three-pointers to propel the Rockets to victory, showcasing their resilience and determination in crunch time.

Despite the chaotic nature of the game, Udoka commended his team’s composure and resilience, highlighting their ability to rise to the occasion and execute under pressure.
