The Golden State Warriors secured a thrilling 113-112 victory over the Phoenix Suns, courtesy of a jaw-dropping 3-pointer by none other than the maestro of long-range shooting, Stephen Curry on Sunday night (Monday, February 12, in the Philippines).

The game showcased the Warriors’ resilience, earning them their fourth consecutive win and marking their sixth triumph in the last seven games.

With just 3.3 seconds left on the clock, Bradley Beal attempted a risky steal to thwart Curry, but the Phoenix guard soon realized the futility of challenging the three-point maestro.

Brandin Podziemski’s precise inbounds pass found Curry, who, with Beal out of the play, unleashed a 33-foot shot that found nothing but the bottom of the net. Curry’s clutch shot secured the Warriors’ victory and left the basketball world once again marveling at his unparalleled shooting prowess.

Beal, acknowledging Curry’s greatness, commented on the inevitability of the result when challenging the iconic shooter.

Podziemski, who facilitated the crucial pass, emphasized Curry’s Tunique ability to rely on muscle memory in high-pressure situations.

Curry finished the game with an impressive 30 points, sinking nine 3-pointers, including the game-winner.

Podziemski lauded Curry’s shot, noting that a regular player would opt for a dribble, highlighting the extraordinary nature of Curry’s decision-making.

The game-winner marked Curry’s 10th career shot in the dying seconds to secure victory, underscoring his reputation as one of the most clutch players in the league.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr acknowledged the significance of the hard-earned victory, emphasizing the team’s determination and effort in tight games.

The Warriors have been involved in six one-point games this season, boasting a 17-18 record in clutch situations, leading the league in such games.

Despite Devin Booker’s stellar performance with 32 points and Kevin Durant’s contribution of 24 points for the Suns, Curry’s heroics sealed the Warriors’ win.

The Suns had two opportunities to respond, but Booker was fouled on the first attempt, and Durant couldn’t release a shot on the second.

Kerr highlighted the team’s resilience, stating that the tight victory was well-deserved and not just a stroke of luck.

The win prevented the Warriors from being swept by the Suns in the season series and brought them back to a .500 record for the first time since December 25.

The game wasn’t without its intensity, as Draymond Green, known for avoiding technical fouls since returning from suspension, received one for arguing a foul call. Green also engaged in verbal exchanges with Suns center Jusuf Nurkic throughout the game, adding a layer of rivalry to the intense matchup.

The Warriors’ victory showcased the team’s ability to thrive under pressure, with Curry’s game-winning shot once again affirming his status as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.
